Whitewater Rafting
Join us for this super fun group adventure! The Arkansas river offers many great sections for whitewater rafting for all levels with Class II-V rapids. The valley boasts spectacular views of the 14,000 ft Collegiate Peaks. Includes a box lunch afterwards. Each raft includes a professional guide, instruction, and all safety equipment. This adventure will be offered on multiple days.
Rafting Options – Choose from the following:
Browns Canyon – Class II, III (beginner, intermediate)
- Paddle through pink granite walls of Browns Canyon National Monument. This is one of the most popular stretches of whitewater in the country.
The Numbers – Class IV (advanced rafters, must be in good health)
- An incredible section with pine forests lining the riverbanks and the Collegiate Peaks towering over the river corridor. Your endurance and paddle experience will be tested here.
Bighorn Sheep Canyon – Class II, III (beginner, intermediate; note: travel time = 1 hr to launch; 1.5 hrs return)
- The canyon walls open to the beautiful views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, rising over 14,000 feet.A gentle start, then moving into more challenging whitewater for the more experienced paddlers.
Royal Gorge – Class IV, V (advanced rafters, must be in good health; note: travel time = 1 hr 20 min to launch; 1 hr 40 min return)
- Challenge yourself with famous rapids like Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, The Narrows and more. Rafting under the Royal Gorge Bridge, 1000 feet below the canyon rim, is an unforgettable experience!
GUIDED 4X4 TOUR
This is a classic Colorado adventure high in the Rockies. Four riders per 4X4, 3 minimum is required. Your professional guide will tailor your experience to the group’s request. You decide – stunning mountain passes, high alpine lakes, abandoned mines, aspen groves, meadows, and even stop for a yummy lunch. Tour itinerary will be determined on-site.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
The Arkansas Valley has one of the best trail systems in the state – single track, rock gardens, great views, challenging climbs, and rewarding descents. This adventure is for all level and is self-guided with the group. Maps are provided and trails are well-marked. There is something for every rider level. This activity will be offered two different days – Salida and Buena Vista. Carbon bikes are fitted to each rider. Ride just few hours or the entire day. A full-day rental and helmet is included. On both days the elevation is approximately 9500 feet at the summit. Grab lunch and beverage in town after your challenging ride. Upgrade to an electric mountain bike to help with those climbs. Includes a bag lunch for the trail.

HORSEBACK OPTION 1 ($30 UPCHARGE)
Chalk Cliffs (Intermediate)
- See the Chalk Cliffs up-close and personal! Enjoy time in the saddle as we ride above a ranch to the base of the cliffs. Take photos next to the rock and see for yourself why it’s called the chalk cliffs! This ride covers steeper, rocky terrain. Riders should be comfortable being on a slope for much of this 2-hour ride.
HORSEBACK OPTION 2 – INCLUDES LUNCH ($90 UPCHARGE)
Brown’s Creek Waterfall (Beginner to Intermediate)
- This ride is a fan favorite! This waterfall ride will take your breath away! You’ll ride through aspen forests, beautiful meadows with mountain backdrops, and cover multiple water crossings on your way to the waterfall. Enjoy lunch and photo opportunities before making our way back down to the tailhead. Ride is approximately 3 hours in the saddle plus lunch at the falls.
HORSEBACK OPTION 3 – INCLUDES LUNCH ($110 UPCHARGE)
Ptarmigan Lake (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Another top favorite! Views include the Cottonwood Pass side of Mt. Princeton, piney forests, multiple alpine lakes, and the famed Ptarmigan Lake. There are opportunities to spread out and independently towards the top of the basin. Ride is for smaller groups and approximately 3.5/4 hours in the saddle plus lunch.
ZIP LINING
If this is something you’ve always wanted to try this is your chance! This tour is a true Colorado eco-adventure. Not only will you experience heart-pounding, leg-shaking thrills as you soar across an ancient canyon, but you’ll learn about the history, flora and fauna of this beautiful, fascinating area.

CHALLENGE ROPES COURSE
The Canyon Challenge Course is an amazing aerial course tucked into Lost Canyon. Surrounded by rugged and colorful limestone cliffs. This course in one of the largest in the United States. It consists of more than 120 interconnected “challenging elements” including swinging bridges, cargo nets, balance beams, tunnels and more. The elements are broken into 9 courses; each one consisting of 8-13 elements and are graded much like ski runs (beginner to double-diamond). Note: This is one of the coolest and challenging courses we’ve seen.

US Olympic & Paralympic Museum – Departure Day Option
This beautiful state of the art interactive museum opened in 2020. This carefully curated collection of every Olympic medal and torch. Try your luck at hands-on interactive Olympic sports at the history of the Olympic spirit. Even see the original Miracle on Ice scoreboard. Finishing off with a movie that will have you reaching for tissue! This private tour will give the insight and stories you wouldn’t get on your own. Flights after 4:00 PM or overnight. Private Tour & Admission: $40, pay onsite.

Need to Know Details
- This is a Singles Only trip for professionals.
- Fly into Denver, CO (DEN)
- Arrival (06/25): Land By 4:00 PM is recommended (Arrive early and see Denver). Transfer to Red Rocks Amphitheater and mountains departs @ 9:00 AM, 06/26.
- Departure (06/30): Flights after 1:30 PM (8:00 AM departure from resort).
- DO NOT book your air until you have received confirmation and we say it is time to do so. Using fully-refundable tickets, miles or points is okay.
- TRAVEL INSURANCE – Will be offered in the confirmation email after signup.
- COVID Protocol – 321adventures requires state or government proof of being fully vaccinated and boosted 14 days prior to arrival day.
